The London Knights ended their first losing streak of the season with a 4-3 win over the Kitchener Rangers Tuesday night. Goals from Carson Harmer, Cohen Bidgood, and Jonathan Kapageridis had London up 3-1 on Kitchener, but the Rangers mounted a comeback. A third period tally from Kaden Schneider forced overtime, where neither team found the back of the net. The Knights were perfect in the shootout though, with Marcus Nordmark and Thomas Zocco finding the back of the net on their two attempts. Both of the Rangers’ shooters failed to score on Knights goaltender, Aleksei Medvedev, who made 25 saves in the win. London’s next game is Friday night at Canada Life Place, when they host the Sudbury Wolves, who have won six of their first seven games this season.
