The Palace Theatre Arts Commons (PTAC) announced Wednesday they have made the decision to “press pause” on the annual London Fringe Festival. In a statement on its website, PTAC said, “The London Fringe Festival has been deeply affected by the global pandemic. Rebuilding trust, capacity, and community takes time, care, and patience. We know this cannot happen overnight, and we cannot do this alone.” Founded in 2000, the annual event showcases uncensored theatre, dance and music. The organization says it is looking forward to the festival’s return in 2027.
