A crash around 8 a.m. caused significant slowdowns on a major route into the city. The two-vehicle collision occurred at Bradley Avenue and Veterans Memorial Parkway. One vehicle struck a traffic light and ended up in a ditch. One southbound lane of Veterans Memorial Parkway was closed to allow crews to remove the vehicles and replace the light standard, causing a long line of traffic exiting Highway 401. No serious injuries were reported.
