London fire crews responded to a blaze in east London on Friday evening. According to London fire, the structure fire in the 1800 block of Marconi Boulevard was the target of an aggressive response, where firefighters rescued three cats and one dog from the fire. Unfortunately only one cat survived life-saving efforts. Damages are estimated in excess of $200,000 - although the fire does not appear to be suspicious in nature at this time, it remains under investigation.
