Montrealers will see a return to snow this weekend. A system is expected to move through southern Quebec beginning Friday night. Up to 6 centimetres could fall over the greater Montreal area, as the mercury moves to a low of -1 C. By Saturday afternoon, temperatures could then reach a high of 2 C. Precipitation is expected to continue on and off throughout Saturday, as the same system brings up to 4 centimetres more. Those in the region should prepare for a below-seasonal evening, as a low of -9 C could come on Saturday night. One additional centimetre of snow is expected on Sunday, as temperatures range from -2 C to -1 C. Heavy rain is then forecast to start next week.
