A suspected arson attack destroyed a vehicle outside a home in Hampstead early Saturday. Montreal police said the fire broke out shortly after 2 a.m. on Belsize Road, near Applewood Cres. Police were called to the scene after the Montreal fire department put out the fire. According to the Montreal police, one person was seen leaving the premises shortly after the fire began, and traces of accelerant were discovered nearby. The investigation remains ongoing, and no arrests have been made.
