Ontario Provincial Police executed a search warrant at a Harkness Street address in Nipigon on Oct. 29 that led to drug and weapons charges against a man and a woman. Officers located a small amount of what was believed to be cocaine, methamphetamine and four long gun firearms that were stored improperly, police said in a news release Thursday. A 40-year-old woman and 67-year-old man, both from Nipigon, each face two counts of trafficking, possession, the unauthorized possession of a firearm and the careless storage of a firearm. Both were remanded into custody for a bail hearing.
