The Vanitea Room is set to close at the end of the month. In a social media post, the Vanitea Room team announced the Centretown establishment will close for the final time on Oct. 31. “Vanitea has been so much more than a restaurant. It has been a place for celebrations, special occasions, familiar faces, new friendships and countless memories shared around the table,” the establishment said on Instagram. “Building Vanitea has been an incredible meaningful chapter, made possible by the people who have walked through our doors, and, especially, the team who have brought this space to life over the years.” The Vanitea Room Tea Salon on Somerset Street West opened its doors in 2015. The menu includes brunch and afternoon tea and children’s tea. “Every chapter has its season, and we feel fortunate to have shared this one with you,” the Vanitea Room said.
