Police say a driver died and another was seriously injured after a head-on collision in Kingston on Tuesday. Kingston Police say officers were called to the crash on Battersea Road between Aragon Road and Downsview Drive at approximately 8:30 a.m. A white SUV travelling north on Battersea Road was involved in an offset front end collision with a black SUV travelling south, police say. The 37-year-old driver of the northbound SUV was pronounced dead at the scene. Two other passengers in the car were taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries. A 40-year-old driver in the other vehicle remains in hospital with serious, life-threatening injuries. The crash remains under investigation. Anyone with information is asked to contact Kingston police. Investigators are also searching for the driver of a small black hatchback that was travelling north on Battersea Road near the crash site at the time of the collision.
