Regina police are asking for the public’s help as they investigate an aggravated assault which left a woman with significant injuries. Police were called to the 1400 block of Wascana Street in the west alley on August 14 at 4 a.m. for a report of an injured person. Upon arrival, they found 37-year-old Rebecca “Becky” Autumn Wilson with significant injuries. Police say she also uses the last name Mathieson. Investigators with the Major Crimes Unit are continuing to determine what happened before Wilson was found. Police say her name has been shared publicly by her family in hopes of advancing the investigation. Anyone with information is asked to contact Regina police or Crime Stoppers.
