Saskatchewan RCMP say they’re investigating after a driver was killed in a crash on Highway 55 east of Meadow Lake. The crash was reported at around 8:30 a.m. on Oct. 26 after police say a semi and a pickup truck collided. The driver of the pickup truck — who was the sole occupant of the vehicle — was pronounced dead at the scene. RCMP say they’re working with the Saskatchewan Coroners Service to identify the body, but no further information about the driver can be released to the public at this time. The driver of the semi was taken to hospital by EMS with serious injuries.
