One person has been airlifted to hospital after a two-vehicle collision in Mississauga Friday afternoon. The collision occurred shortly before 2:45 p.m. in the area of Dundas Street West and Cedarglen Gate, which is west of Mavis Road. Police said one of the vehicles struck a pole and flipped over. One driver was airlifted to hospital and is in critical condition, while a second person was taken to a local area hospital. The extent of their injuries is currently unknown. Dundas Street West from Wolfdale to Glengarry roads is currently closed as police investigate. Those in the area are being asked to consider alternate routes and avoid the area.
