A two-vehicle collision in Brampton killed a man in his 20s and sent three others to hospital, Peel Regional Police say. It happened at around 1:10 a.m. in the area of The Gore Road and Castle Oaks Crossing. Police tell CP24 a Nissan Pathfinder SUV and a minivan were both travelling southbound on Gore Road. Peel police said the SUV appeared to make contact with the minivan in the intersection, causing the driver of the Pathfinder to “lose control” and roll over. “The driver and sole occupant of the Pathfinder, a man in his 20s, was ejected from the vehicle and pronounced deceased at the scene,” police said in a statement. Police said the driver and passengers of the minivan were taken to a local trauma centre with non-life-threatening injuries. The Major Collision Bureau is currently investigating. At around 10 a.m., police said the roads have reopened.
