63-year-old Chatham woman charged with taking vehicle without consent

Chatham-Kent police say a 63-year-old Chatham woman has been charged with taking a vehicle without consent.

Officers responded to a report of a vehicle taken without the owner’s consent in the area of Arthur Drive in Chatham.

Through investigation, officers found the vehicle a short time later and safely took a suspect into custody without incident.

As a result, the 63-year-old Chatham woman was charged with taking a motor vehicle without consent.

The accused was released with a future court date.
