Spitfires fall to Rangers in Game 4, one loss away from elimination

It was a tough night for the Windsor Spitfires who are now on the brink of elimination after a loss to the Kitchener Rangers on home ice.

The Spits were steamrolled 6-3 in game four of the Western Conference Final, falling behind 4-nothing before a third-period push.

Frustration boiled over in the second with fans throwing stuff on the ice after a hit that sent AJ Spellacy to the box.

The loss puts Windsor down 3-1 in the series, and one loss away from another playoff exit at the hands of Kitchener.

Game 5 is set for Friday.
