The price of diesel continues to rise in the Maritimes, while there was a slight decrease in New Brunswick gas prices overnight. Nova Scotia The price of regular self-serve gasoline in the Halifax area increased by 5.9 cents. The minimum price is now 196.1 cents per litre. Diesel prices increased by 6.7 cents. The new minimum price is 273.9 cents per litre. In Cape Breton, the price of gas is now 198.1 cents per litre while diesel is 275.8 cents per litre. Prince Edward Island The price of regular self-serve gasoline increased by 10.3 cents on P.E.I., bringing the minimum price to 214.9 cents per litre. The minimum price of diesel increased by 10.4 cents. The new minimum is 283.4 cents per litre. New Brunswick The price of regular self-serve gasoline decreased slightly overnight in New Brunswick by 2.8 cents. The maximum price is now 199.0 cents per litre. Diesel prices increased by two cents. The maximum price is now 288.0 cents per litre. It follows a previous increase of 13 cents on Thursday.
