A 17-year-old youth has died after a collision involving his motorcycle and a pickup truck. Fredericton police are investigating the fatal crash which happened on Friday. Officers on patrol responded to a collision at the intersection of Vanier Industrial Drive and Wilsey Road around 5:50 p.m. The pickup truck driver, a 21-year-old man from Fredericton, was not injured. The motorcyclist, a 17-year-old male also from Fredericton, was transported to hospital where he later died from his injuries. The investigation is ongoing.
