Man wanted on Canada-wide warrant arrested: Saint John police

A man who was wanted on a Canada-wide warrant for allegedly breaching the conditions of his statutory release has been arrested.

The Saint John Police Force said on June 16 that they were looking for 29-year-old Dakota Barlett and warned the public not to approach him.

Bartlett is serving a three-year sentence for the following convictions:

• possession of property obtained by crime over $5,000
• possession of a schedule I substance
• possession of a schedule I/II substance for the purpose of trafficking

Saint John police say Bartlett was arrested on Wednesday.
