The New Brunswick RCMP is looking for an elderly man who was last seen in Shippagan more than four years ago. Police say Joseph Aldonia Chiasson was last seen in the JD Gauthier Boulevard area on Aug. 10, 2022. He was reported missing on Aug. 17, according to an RCMP news release. He was 73 years old at the time. Chiasson is described as standing five-foot-11 and weighing roughly 150 pounds. He has brown eyes, short grey hair and a mustache. He wears prescription eyeglasses and has a tattoo of a heart with an arrow on his left forearm. Anyone with information on Chiasson is asked to call police at 506-344-2006, or anonymously contact Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
