The annual Lebanese Cedar Festival is back in Halifax this weekend, promising good food and good times. The festival, which started in 2007, is a celebration of Lebanese culture, bringing together 200 performers from Thursday to Sunday. “The Cedar Festival promotes Lebanese culture and a vibrant community in Halifax,” said festival chair James Ramia. “We’re expecting 13,000 guests and 300 volunteers are ready to serve them.” The festival is a major fundraiser for Our Lady of Lebanon Church.
