A person has been arrested in Margaretsville, N.S., for alleged violations under the Fisheries Act, the DFO said on Friday. Fishery officers made the arrest and seized 57 crates of lobster at a storage facility on Oct. 18. Those crates contained 3,311 live and 495 dead lobsters. The live ones were taken to Lobster Fishing Area 29 in Cape Breton where they were released into the ocean. The DFO says an investigation is underway and it will not be providing any more information for now. For more Nova Scotia news, visit our dedicated provincial page
