The managing editor of a Halifax-based satirical magazine has been charged for allegedly publishing an intimate image of another person. In July 2025, police say it was reported to them Frank Magazine “published an intimate image online of another person without their consent.” After launching an investigation, Andrew Douglas, 47, was arrested last Wednesday. He is scheduled to appear in Halifax provincial court at a later date. Police say he will face the charge of sharing an intimate image without consent, contrary to Section 162.1 of the Criminal Code.
