A woman has been arrested for allegedly driving while impaired following a crash in Elderbank, N.S. The RCMP Halifax Regional Detachment responded to a report of a single-vehicle crash in the 6000 block of Highway 357 around 9:35 p.m. Friday. When officers arrived on scene, they found an Acura MDX in a ditch off the roadway and a woman standing outside the vehicle. “An officer spoke with the woman and observed signs of impairment. The driver, a 46-year-old woman from Halifax Regional Municipality, was arrested for impaired driving,” reads a news release from the Nova Scotia RCMP. The unnamed woman was taken to the Lower Sackville RCMP Detachment, where police say she provided two breath samples registering 200 mg% and 190 mg%.
