A missing 73-year-old woman who sparked a police search in Barrie’s Mapleview Drive East area has been found safe. Barrie police had been searching for the woman who was last seen around 10 a.m. Friday in the Costco parking lot. Officers had expressed concern for her well-being. She was last reported wearing a white vest over a light blue or mauve sweater and black pants. Investigators have since confirmed she has been found in good health.
