York Regional Police say one woman was in his hospital after a nighttime collision in Newmarket. Just before 11 p.m. on Monday, police say the woman was struck by a car at the intersection of Parkside Drive and Davis Drive. According to police, she suffered serious injuries. Police shut down the intersection as the area was under investigation for hours, but it has since reopened. Residents who may have witnessed or have footage of the collision are asked to contact police. CTV News has reached out to police for updates on this story.
