Residents are being asked to take alternative routes as police attend the scene of a collision in Bracebridge. Provincial police say the call for the collision came in just before before 2 p.m. According to OPP, a dump truck and passenger vehicle collided on Highway 11 at High Falls Road in Bracebridge. As a result, one northbound and one southbound lane on the highway are blocked at High Falls Road and after 4 p.m. all north bound lanes will be closed down. An investigation into the collision is ongoing, police say injuries are still being assessed. Police are asking residents to take a detour on Muskoka Road 117 and Muskoka Road 46 to connect back to the highway. We will update this article as more information becomes available.
