Police say they pulled over three motorcyclists, but one allegedly sped away at 200 kilometres per hour. The OPP says on July 16 at 8:43 p.m., officers were in the County Road 11 and Broadway area in Orangeville doing general traffic enforcement when they noticed three motorcycles whiz by that caught their attention. Authorities say an officer pulled over the motorcycles in the Township of East Garafaxa. Two complied while the third took off at around 200 kilometres per hour. Police say they later spotted the motorcycle flying by in the same area. As the investigation continued, police say the driver eventually turned himself in to Dufferin OPP on July 21 – a Georgetown man, 23. He is facing six charges, including operating a vehicle without insurance, a permit, plates or licence, dangerous operation and fleeing from an officer. The accused is scheduled to appear in court at a later date.
