The goal of an inquest is to establish medical cause and manner of death. A coroner’s jury can also make recommendations to prevent similar deaths in the future. Coroner Robert Kennedy will preside over the inquest, which is scheduled to run Aug. 18 to 21 at the Creighton Court Room.
