Barrie Police are seeking the help of the public in identifying two suspects of a reported assault. Around 3 a.m. on Wednesday, police responded to the Eccles Street north area to an establishment where two men are accused of having assaulted a staff member. Police say the assault happened after the staff member refused them service. The men are also alleged to have damaged a security camera and an interior door at the establishment. The victim of the assault was left with minor injuries, police say. The accused are said to have fled the scene before officers arrived. Police describe one of the two men as approximately five feet 10 inches tall with a medium build and short brown/reddish hair. At the time, he was wearing a black hoodie with an emblem on the left chest and black pants. The second male is described as six feet tall with a medium build, wearing a grey hoodie with the hood over his head, dark coloured jeans and black sneakers. Police are working to obtain a photo of the second male. Anyone with information is asked to contact Barrie police.
