Young man charged after dangerously operating jet ski: police

Police have identified and charged a man who was allegedly driving dangerously on a jet ski in Huntsville.

A 23-year-old Bracebridge man is facing charges of dangerous operation and assault.

The OPP released a photo of the man in hopes the public could help identify the person.

Officers say they received the report of a jet-ski maneuvering in dangerous ways on June 13 on the Big East River.

Minor injuries were reported due to this incident.

The accused will appear in court at a later date.

Police say they are continuing to patrol lakes around the Muskoka region to make sure watercraft operators are boating responsibly.
