A trio of suspects has been arrested after a man showed up shot at the Medicine Hat Regional Hospital earlier this month. Police say the man’s injuries were serious when he arrived at the hospital on July 12. It’s believed he was fired on at a residence in the southeast Alberta city, in the 600 block of Sixth Street S.W. It’s believed the incident was a targeted attack. Arrested in connection are Benjamin Adam (45), Bodana Dye (45) and Jade Holt (26). Adam is charged with break-and-enter, aggravated assault, assault with a weapon, possession of a weapon dangerous to the public peace and discharging a firearm with intent. Dye and Holt are both charged with aggravated assault. Adam is in custody, sentenced on unrelated court matters since his arrest. Dye and Holt are not in custody. Dye is next scheduled to appear in court in Medicine Hat on Aug. 5, while Holt is next scheduled to appear in court in Medicine Hat on July 29. Investigation is ongoing.
