It was another cooler day for Calgary with the city just barely cracking into the double digits with a high of 10 C and northerly winds gusting between 20 to 40 km/h. It will be a chilly evening again tonight as clouds clear out dropping us to a low of 0 C. That will allow an early start for the sun tomorrow to warm us up back above seasonal with a forecast high of 23 C. Clouds will start to move in from the foothills throughout the afternoon, and models suggest there will be enough local instability to produce pop up showers or isolated thunderstorms throughout the evening. The risk of being in the path of a non-severe thunderstorm appears to be higher closer to the foothills and south of Calgary closer to the Nanton and Lethbridge areas. Conditions settle again for Thursday with a high of 21 C, but on Friday we once again could see some late day showers that will continue into Saturday morning.
