Alberta’s recent first taste of snow means winter is on its way, and that means you should think about getting your tires swapped. Kal Tire’s south Lethbridge location got an influx of calls with this past weekend’s cold weather. Drivers are trying to get ahead of the changing weather, and despite being busy, Kal Tire say it’s still offering same-day tire swaps. But it’ll soon have to start booking two to three days out. “It generally happens as soon as the first major snowfall happens, where it’s sticking to the ground and everybody now is starting to rush and scramble to get their safer winter tires put on,” said Brantley Boisclair, Kal Tire South’s assistant manager. To save some time, you can also book your tire swap online.
