Investigation underway into collision between motorcycle and SUV

2 people were hospitalized in a collision between a motorcycle and SUV Saturday night in northeast Calgary.

Investigation is underway into a collision involving a motorcycle and an SUV.

Around 6:30 p.m. on Saturday, police responded to the south end of Skyview Manor N.E., where the collision took place.

The motorcyclist was transported to hospital with serious injuries, while a passenger from the SUV was transported as a precaution.

Rayan Sanaoubar said he was nearby, getting some food when he heard a big crash.

“I heard his friends screaming and then, as soon as I got here, I seen, he was under the car,” said Sanaoubar.

“The bike was messed up.

“Honestly it’s just a tragedy and it’s real sad,” he said.
