After deliberating for two days a jury found Alexa Suitor, 35, guilty of sexual assault with someone under 16. Suitor faced those charges over allegations she had intercourse with an underage boy on Jan. 1, 2024 at a rural property northwest of Sundre where she was a chaperone for a post-New Year’s Eve sleepover. The 12-person jury began deliberations early Friday afternoon and returned with a verdict Saturday. The case returns to court Nov. 27 when a date for sentencing arguments is expected to be set.
