The Lethbridge Public Library has launched a survey to help guide its upcoming strategic plan. Residents are invited to share their experieinces on library services to help develop the 2027 to 2031 plan of service. The document is developed through a community needs assessment and includes goals, strategies, and objectives that will guide service priorities. “Libraries grow and change with the communities they serve,” said Lethbridge Public Library CEO Terra Plato, in a media release. “Each response we receive will help us make thoughtful decisions that make sure our services continue to meet the needs of Lethbridge for years to come.” The online survey can be found on the city’s website until Aug. 7. It’s open to the public and can be completed online or in person at any public library in Lethbridge. Participants will be entered into a draw for a $100 Park Place Mall gift card. “The library is a valuable community resource that provides opportunities for learning, connectivity and growth for everyone,” said Lethbridge Mayor Blaine Hyggen. “This work helps build a sense of place, identity and belonging in our community.”
