CTV News is your Alberta Referendum headquarters. Live results. Expert analysis. Everything you need to know is here. As Albertans head to the polls on Monday to decide whether the province should stay in Confederation or hold a second, binding referendum on separation, Prime Minister Mark Carney is ramping up his pro-Canada campaign in the province. The prime minister is set to visit Red Deer with Alberta Premier Danielle Smith today and later rally in Edmonton with the federalist group Forever Canadian. On Thursday, Carney made a speech at a rally in Calgary, telling the crowd of roughly 5,000 that a vote against Canada is a dangerous bluff that could lead to years of lost opportunities. Meanwhile, Smith and Conservative Leader Pierre Poilievre will both speak at a conference in Calgary about keeping Alberta in the Confederation fold.
