Investigation is underway into a suspicious death that took place early Saturday morning at a home on the Samson Cree Nation. Maskwacis RCMP responded to a 911 call at around 5:30 a.m. Saturday to a residence, where they discovered a 25-year-old man dead. The Alberta RCMP major crimes unit has taken over the investigation. RCMP is seeking public assistance, particularly those with video or dash camera footage from around Cranes Crossing in Maskwacis shot between 4:30 a.m. and 6 a.m. on Sept. 5.
