Ontario Provincial Police are investigating after a small aircraft reportedly crashed into a field just outside of Fergus, Ont. They said it also caught fire. “The extent of injuries is unknown at this time,” OPP wrote in a media release. The plane went down near the intersection of Beatty Line and Wellington Road 17, between Fergus and Arthur, on Friday morning. OPP said Transport Canada has been notified of the crash. More to come.
