A 5-year-old pedestrian has been transported to a trauma centre after suffering serious injuries following a collision in the Town of Goderich Saturday. Just before 2:30 p.m. the Huron County OPP, along with Huron County Emergency Medical Services (EMS) responded to a motor vehicle collision on Quebec Street. The child was struck by a motor vehicle and suffered serious, non-life threatening injuries. The child was transported by EMS to a trauma centre and is in stable condition. No one else was injured as a result of the collision. Quebec Street was closed between Waterloo Street South and Wellington Street South as police investigated the collision. OPP have since cleared the area and the roadway has been reopened
