Warm and muggy conditions will continue across southern Ontario Wednesday, with scattered showers and thunderstorms in the forecast, according to CTV London meteorologist Julie Atchison. “If we get under one of these storms, we could see upwards of 20 millimetres of rainfall,” Atchison said. The region will see a mix of sun and cloud by midday, with temperatures climbing to 31 C in London. It could feel as hot as 41 with the humidex, with a heat warning in effect. Thursday will be mainly cloudy with a 40 per cent chance of showers and a high of 26 C. The heat will ease, but humidity will linger. Friday will remain mainly cloudy with a high of 26 C, while Saturday will be mainly cloudy with a high of 20 C. The Labour Day weekend is shaping up to be more seasonal, with a mix of sun and cloud Sunday and Monday and daytime highs of 23 to 24 C.
