The Northern Tornadoes Project (NTP) is investigating a microburst in Bayfield on July 3. It confirmed an early morning storm produced a small area of tree damage. The fallen trees damaged buildings and vehicles, while also affecting powerlines. NTP says the maximum wind speed is estimated at 115 km/h, earning an EF0 rating.
