Southern Ontario is in for a stretch of mostly sunny, summer-like weather after rain moved through the region Wednesday. CTV London’s meteorologist Julie Atchison says a weak cold front will move through the area Thursday afternoon, bringing a shift in winds and drier conditions. “We’re in for a nice stretch of beautiful sunshine, and some gorgeous conditions, and with temperatures remaining summer-like across southern Ontario,” Atchison said. Thursday will start with some cloud cover and light, variable winds before winds shift to the northwest as the front passes. The high is expected to reach 23 C, with the temperature feeling closer to 27 C in the afternoon. Humidity levels will also begin to improve Thursday, with the biggest change expected Thursday night as cooler, drier air moves in. Friday is expected to be mainly sunny with a high of 24 C. Saturday will bring plenty of sunshine, with temperatures reaching 26 C. There is a chance of showers Saturday night, with the risk increasing to about 40 per cent. Sunday is expected to be a good day, with some cloud and a high of 25 C. The sunny and mild conditions are expected to continue into Monday.
