Make no mistake, the Saguenay, Que., music duo Angine de Poitrine is now mainstream. The National Football League (NFL) used Khn and Klek’s song “Fabienk” in a TikTok video on Tuesday to remind gridiron fans that there are just 50 days remaining until the season kicks off. The track backs videos of dancing quarterbacks Jaxson Dart (New York Giants) and Brock Purdy (San Francisco 49ers) as well as Detroit Lions wide receiver Amon-Ra St. Brown and others. “Hang in there, we’re almost back,” the caption reads. One user commenting on the video asked if the use of the band meant “Quebec/Canada is getting a team soon?” Several commenters suggested the Quebec duo would get booked in the marquee game of the year. “Can’t wait to see Angine de Poitrine at the Superbowl halftime show,” one wrote. Some were just confused. “Angine de Pointrine x NFL was not in my bingo card,” one wrote. The duo is riding incredibly high at the moment. Their free concert at the Montreal Jazz Festival broke attendance records (and injured more than a few people), with tens of thousands heading to the Place des Festivals on June 27. The duo was named the Global Breakthrough Award winners at Billboard Canada Power Players 2026. “The Quebec duo have gone mega-viral and become one of the most sought-after bands in music, all within the course of four months,” Billboard Canada wrote. It is the first award Angine de Poitrine has won outside of Quebec, though they are expected to take home the Polaris Music Prize after making the short list. The band opened for Jack White in Toronto last week and played the Ottawa Bluesfest before surprising soccer fans at a last-minute FIFA fan fest show on Sunday for the World Cup final. White wore the band’s signature polka dots for his show.
