A 33-year-old man from Greater Sudbury has been charged with 13 offences following a two-vehicle crash last week in Markstay-Warren. Ontario Provincial Police said the Oct. 22 collision involved a dirt bike and a pickup truck on Highway 17. “The dirt bike operator allegedly failed to remain at the scene and was later located by police at their residence,” the OPP said Oct. 26. “The operator was transported to hospital with minor injuries.” The 13 charges include driving while prohibited, failing to remain at the scene, driving while suspended and failing to report an accident. The accused is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Sudbury on Dec. 23. “If you are involved in a collision, stop immediately, remain at the scene and provide your information as required by law,” police said. “Check for injuries and call 911 if emergency assistance is needed.”
