Ontario Provincial Police say Highway 69 was still closed as of 10 p.m. on Friday after a two-vehicle collision in the Killarney area left one person dead and others seriously injured. OPP first confirmed the closure shortly before 8:30 p.m. on Nov. 6, saying Highway 69 in the Killarney area, south of Key River, was closed at Highway 522 due to a serious collision. Closure expanded By about 9:10 p.m., OPP said Highway 69 was closed from Highway 522 in Cranberry to Highway 400 in Parry Sound, and that the Highway 124 on-ramp to Highway 400 was also closed. “Please avoid the area as the closure is expected to be lengthy,” OPP wrote on social media. Fatality confirmed In an email to CTV News at about 9:40 p.m., OPP North East Regional Media Coordinator Sgt.
