A Thunder Bay Police Service major crime unit investigation has resulted in second-degree murder charges for two men. The charges stem from a July 18 incident in which police responded to a report of an assault in the Cumming Street area around 11 p.m. “On scene, a deceased individual was located,” police said in a news release. “Further investigation led to two suspects being identified and arrested.” Charged with second-degree murder are a 29-year-old and a 61-year-old, both from Thunder Bay. Both accused were remanded into custody following their first court appearance.
