A Sudbury woman pleaded guilty on Tuesday at the Sudbury Courthouse for her role in covering up a murder after a man’s body was discovered in a truck in a garage on Lansdowne Street in April 2025. Hailey Burnham, 27, entered a plea of guilty to a charge of accessory after the fact. The court heard she arranged to have a black Dodge pickup truck parked in the garage to cover up the fatal shooting of 21-year-old David Kouassi. A friend confided in her that a man known as ‘Moose’ shot him. Five people were charged in relation to the shooting. The alleged shooter has yet to stand trial. Burnham will be back in court for sentencing July 2.
