One person was taken to a hospital following a fire at a high-rise building near Billings Bridge on Wednesday, Ottawa paramedics say. Ottawa firefighters say a balcony fire at a building on Clementine Boulevard was reported around 10:36 p.m. By 10:56 p.m., the fire was declared under control. Ottawa Paramedic Service spokesperson Nicolas Guertin told CTV News that paramedics assessed and treated three patients at the scene. Two of the patients were released but a third was taken to the hospital in serious but stable condition. An Ottawa Fire Services investigator is working to determine the cause of the fire.
