Threat of rain in the forecast every day this week in Ottawa

Residents and tourists may want to keep the umbrella and raincoat nearby this week, with a chance of rain every day for the rest of the week.

Environment Canada’s forecast calls for a mix of sun and cloud today with a 30 per cent chance of showers late this afternoon. There is a risk of a thunderstorm. High 24 C.

It will be partly cloudy tonight with a 30 per cent chance of evening showers. Low 14 C.

Wednesday will see a mix of sun and cloud with a 40 per cent chance of showers and the risk of a thunderstorm. High 22 C.

Showers are expected on Thursday. High 23 C.

The outlook for Friday calls for mainly cloudy with a 60 per cent chance of showers. High 22 C.

Saturday will be cloudy with a 40 per cent chance of showers. High 20 C.

The normal temperatures for this time of year are a high of 24 C and a low of 14 C.
